Another New Moon is almost upon us (May 30, 2022 4:30am PDT) and it's happening in the energetic air sign of Gemini! New Moons signal a cosmic reset and this particular new moon provides us with a fresh start, both emotionally and energetically. gemini is one of the most light-hearted signs of the zodiac known for it's hopeful, positive and easygoing nature. I'm ready for this cycle, how about you?!
One interesting point I'd like to mention is that Mercury, Gemini's ruling planet, is currently retrograde (which will end June 3rd). This means we will not only have a new beginning (New Moon), but also an opportunity for second chances(mercury retrograde), especially around communication, another keyword for the Gemini/mercury duo. This Could also indicate New ideas and paradigms around old patterns and problems or an opportunity to communicate about something that may not have played out as you had hoped before.
Information and ideas are huge when talking about gemini and the planet Mercury, hence why people like to blame Mercury Retrograde for any tech or communication issues. It's really more about taking a step back, reevaluating a situation and deciding with more information, or from a different angle, if you're still making the choice you want to make. By doing this, we can create better communication with ourselves and those around us.
During this lunar cycle, I'd like to invite you to really pay attention to how you communicate with yourself. Are you being kind or nasty with your inner dialogue? Remember, the way you treat and value yourself will help set guidelines for the way others treat and value you and how you treat and value others!
This is also a time to really hone in on your intuition. Pay attention to That gut feeling, or first reaction... learn to trust your instincts, and if you've been working on the relationship with your intuition, this is the perfect time to really lean into trusting those messages.
Depending on which house Gemini rules in your chart, it is likely activating other energies as well. For example, it's lighting up my 10th house!! The house of career, how you make your mark in the world, and what you're known for, and I love that for me and my fellow Virgo rising peeps!! If this is sounding a little "out there" (hi cosmic energy!), that's ok, I always encourage checking in with yourself and decide what you believe, or what feels right for you. If nothing else, take this opportunity to evaluate if you are chasing after what you truly want, or if maybe you're aiming for what others tell you is important. Manifesting is real, whether you're active or passive in the process is up to you!
