It's my friend's birthday today and he likes polar bears, so today's Doodle is in honor of him. Also, I'm on location filming a wedding and I don't have wifi or a whole lot of time to spare, so I'm going to keep this short and simple.
Male polar bears are twice the size as their female counterparts. A male polar bear can weigh over 1750 pounds (800kg). This, in addition to the fact that they can measure up to 9 feet long (3 meters), makes polar bears the largest land carnivore in the world today.
